زمن الحاضر(المضارع ) المستمر
The Present Continuous Tense

The present continuous tense is used to show an action happening now.
Example:
-He is playing now.
Right now, I am reading.

يستعمل الزمن الحاضر المستمر ليُعَبِّر عن حدث يحصل الآن.
مثال:
- هو يلعب الان
- الآن، أنا أقرأ.

The present Continuous has the following form:
verb to be (present) + main verb + ing.

Example: am / are / is + work + ing.

ويستعمل الزمن الحاضر في الصيغة التالية:
فعل(( to be في الحاضر+ الفعل الرئيسي + (ing).


ملاحظة:
ـ يحذف حرف (e) من آخر الفعل عند إضافة(ing)
(ing) living = ing + live
2 ـ يضاعف الحرف الأخير إذ الأخير إذ سبقه حرف علة عند إضافة (ing)
stopping = stop

Examples:

I am writing
You are playing
Mrs. Taleb is ****ing

In the Living Room
The Kabbany Family is in the living room tonight. Mr. Kabbany is reading the newspaper. Mrs. Kabbany is watching TV. Salem is writing his homework, and Suad is playing with the cat. The Kabbany family is happy in the living room.


في غرفة الجلوس
عائلة قباني في غرفة الجلوس هذا المساء. السيد قباني يقرأ الصحيفة، والسيدة قباني تشاهد التلفاز . سالم يكتب واجبه وسعاد تلاعب قطتها عائلة قباني سعيدة في غرفة الجلوس.



At The Park
The Halabi Family is at the park today. Mr. Halabi is sleeping under the tree. Mrs. Halabi is watching the children playing. Samira is flying a kite, and Rashad is fixing his bicycle. The Halabi family is happy at the park today.

في الحديقة
عائلة الحلبي في الحديقة اليوم. السيد حلبي يرقد (ينام) تحت الشجرة، والسيدة حلبي تشاهد الأطفال يلعبون. سميرة تُطَيِّر طائرتها الورقية ورشاد يصلح دراجته. عائلة حلبي سعيدة في الحديقة اليوم

Write the present continuous of the verbs in brackets.

اكتب الزمن الحاضر المستمر للأفعال التي بين قوسين.

أكتب (True) أي (صح) أو (False) أي (خطأ).
